Rush is a pretty special guy. When he arrived here in Maryland, he had one point and a ton of heart. Working together nearly every day, Ed and Rush were ready for the show ring in just a few short weeks. Rush finished his championship in three weekends of showing, culminating with a 5 pt major under respected breeder/judge Frank Thomas at the Garden State Akita Club Supported Entry at Trenton KC. Rush has since gone on to be selectively shown and has been a group placer as well as winning Best in Specialty at the ACA Region One Specialty in November, 2003. Rush
earned his TT at the 2004 National.
Just like his sire, many siblings and half-siblings, Rush breezed
through the Temperament Test. He
tried to earn extra points by attempting to kiss the various people
administering the test. He
then surprised us by behaving himself long enough to earn his Canine
Good Citizen!! Rush then went on to place second in the 7 – under 10
Veteran’s class. Rush is available at stud to approved bitches. |
